“I have been a Athena Club member for over a year now. I ordered 2 new razor kits with my regular blade subscription. I got the lilac razor for my daughter because she loves purple. My subscription refill date came and went, no email stating my order was on the way, and when I looked at my account, it just said processing. I contacted Athena club and was told that the lilac razor was on backorder and my order would ship out as soon as it was back in stock, which I was told was going to be soon. Not long after, I kept getting the emails about the lilac razor being back, so I assumed my order would ship out soon, but no. I reached out again to Athena Club and was told it's still on backorder, despite emails saying it was back in stock. I was told I they would ship the rest of my order, if I wanted and would send the lilac razor when it was back, so I agreed to this. Now, I've been charged the full amount, keep getting emails about the lilac razor being back, and I only received my new razor kit and my replacement blades, a month after my subscription renewal date. If the lilac razor is back in stock, Athena Club should be fulfilling the backorders first and not new orders, which is what I believe they are likely doing. All of this is happening with no communication from the company, I have to keep reaching back out to them to get any info about my order status. Just poor communications to loyal customers.”
“I am so happy with this razor. First shave with a fresh blade that didn't result in a blood bath! Seriously...it is so comfortable to use, the weight is perfect, & it results in a nice close shave that lasts longer than I'm used to. Bought one for my cousin who is a self proclaimed razor connoisseur & she raved about it too.”
