“I don’t remember how I came across a free preset from Athena and Camron but I started using it and making it my own. I had been looking for a preset that utilized ALL Lightroom panels had to offer.
Then Seasons! I loved it and literally started using these exclusively! There was something for every style shoot I captured! I would watch A/C videos on their website and loved their connection, their presence and their nature when sharing joys with photography, something I felt I was losing with each shoot.
Homebody presets were added along the way and are “try me first!” worthy. I can always default to Seasons for inspiration or as a muse!
Then Masterclass!! I purchased it in July 2020 and read most of the invitations and watched a couple videos and even that was useful. I felt more calm and more confident and using presets that I adored, I was regaining that joy as well!! I hadn’t “taken” the Masterclass start to finish yet.
Forward to July 2021
I had stopped doing weddings at all from a few crazy experiences. Not worth the headache or what I was being paid for such HARD work! But a friend needed a small 2 hour wedding and I did it; eased my way back in. Then another! A photographer backed out at the last minute and the couple contacted me for help!
So the week before their big day, I sat in my comfiest chair and took the Masterclass start to finish! I really felt empowered and calm and excited to shoot!! At one point during the wedding party shots, one of the groomsmen yelled out, “This is the best wedding EVER!” The “drunk walk” was a huge success!!
