“This is the third safety gate I have bought recently.It is actually to keep pets safe rather than children. I was looking for a gate for an opening 86cm wide. I perused many on the internet and yours seemed a good buy. I checked what the headlines said i.e. for openings 71- 103. Perfect. Sadly not. what it didn't say at that point was that to fit an opening of 86cm I would need and extension. I was trying to avoid using an extension as I feel that makes a weak point which I most certainly don't need. I expect to be returning it for a full refund and will again have to start the trawl looking for a more suitable gate. I am genuinely saddened that this misunderstanding can arise, may I suggest the headlines say explicitly that the actual item is only for .....cm and you will need extension(s) for the wider width.”
