“The Remi portacot is easy to set up and pack down. It is sturdy and you can tell it’s made from quality materials. The size is generous but it doesn’t feel too big in the room.
We also bought the Uppababy Remi net canopy and this also works well. As it’s angled it is difficult to lower a 6month old all the way to the bottom. The net opening would be good if using the bassinet. That leaves using the size zip which is super handy but the zip can be quite loud. Rubbing a bit of candle wax on the zipper has helped.
Haven’t used the change table yet as the canopy net is in the way.
The mattress is made up of 4 panels and you can feel the lines where they attach but when adding sheets it can’t be felt as much and Bub isn’t fazed by it. Mattress is as comfortable as a portacot mattress could probably get whilst meeting safety standards. I have definitely felt worse! Also, if using non Uppababy sheets you can’t Velcro strap the mattress to the underside of the cot but it isn’t going anywhere I strapped so not a big deal.
All in all I am happy with the Remi and would purchase again.”
