“While visiting a friend the presence of a vacuum which was "lent from a neighbor prompted he question "where is your Dyson(DC59)".
"Its had it. Only lasts for a few seconds. I'm about to get a new one with my points(260,000)((5 return flights to Thailand!!))"
On inspection I suggested adding a battery to my own order(DC58 battery & filter ) with Battery Mate. The filters were on a 2 for $11 deal and the whole lot arrived in two days. After fitting it for them I asked them to time how long the charge lasted using "Boost" mode. He reported 60 minutes by text message , quickly followed by a correction "6 minutes".
Dyson advise that their genuine batteries will power a DC58 & 59 for 20 minutes or 6 minutes in boost mode. At 1/3 of the cost so can Battery Mates.”
