“I ran it for 11 hours yesterday and last night, got down to -2 and worked very well. Only used about half a tank of fuel, diesel pump does make a ticking noise but nothing you wouldn't get used to. A longer duct would be handy and I'll probably buy another exhaust pipe and duct, just to get it a bit further away from the camper. All in all it's good value for the money. The only mod I did was to get some rubber feet like you would have on an air compressor, two larger ones on the front small on the back to clear the exhaust and to tilt it back a bit to angle the fuel towards the pickup in the tank to give you more usable fuel. “Received (nice quick delivery was home when I got home for R/R (FIFO)
Assembled easy enough - 1st mod off you tube was copper 90° bend on exhaust outlet (to tight without packing the whole thing up higher)
Did quick mod to caravan through air vent so could try while free camping which we did 2 days into my week off.
Everything ran well- set on 2 hz overnight to take chill off the air and when cranked up it heated our 21' caravan no problem, so when I go home this time I am going to do more permanent way to get ducting into caravan from underneath where it can't be seen when not in use also install ducting so warm air vent outlet is in what looks like most common position in a lot of caravans on you tube.
Have not been able to get remote working yet, other than that happy so far.
Why I went for all in one is I won't to use in for different areas as well at the moment.
