“I have a Canon Maxify printer and am really very happy with it. Except for one annoying thing - I always seem to use about twice as much of one color cartridge than the others and have to go out and buy a single cartridge so I can keep on printing - even if it's only black printing I'm doing. Bloody nuisance really. And an expensive nuisance! A single XL-size authentic Canon cartridge bought retail from the best-priced national store I can find is $NZ48.00. For just one cartridge.. I can't find any online deals for a single cartridge, only for full sets, even for Canon-compatible units. They're much better priced, of course, but it still means I have to buy two colors more than I need.
So I was delighted to find battery-mate's offer on my NZ auction site - trademe.co.nz. 4 Black cartridges and 6 color ones for $NZ65.00 ($AU54.30)
So I've still got the issue of having a stock of all the colorse, but at that proice, it's not that much of an issue. Even if in the time it takes me to use these four complete sets up, I have to buy maybe two one-off genuine Canon units, I will still be well ahead!
And the delivery service was every godd as the price, with the package being delivered to my home in Auckland just five business days after I placed the order.
