“The rubber buttons on my Holden key had partly disintegrated so the shell looked promising. Unfortunately my key was super glued and I was unable to dismantle it. In the end I resorted to cutting out the rubber buttons on both keys with a blade and glued the good pad into place on the original key.
To buy a new key from the dealer, tuned to my Holden, was going to cost $500 plus so the shell worked for me.
The key shell was fine…but to use it as a replacement key you need to cut the blank key and buy the electronics,,, then have it tuned into the car.!! $$$ (Fortunately I didn’t have to do that.) 5 stars for the shell”
