I wore this to my latest hospital appointment and gave the leaflets to two people who wished to buy one. I cannot use crutches or a self propelled wheel chair, Peg Leg does it all without the hassle of relying on some one else.

Excellent. Struggled resting and struggled with crutches. Bought this a few days after leaving hospital. Badly broken ankle repaired with plates and screws. This freed up my hands and allowed me to potter around and do things. I’m not as graceful as the examples on the YouTube tutorials but that’s just me. I highly recommend. The company were accessible if needed. Ordering and delivering was very prompt. Thanks very much.

Ruptured my Achilles Tendon whilst unloading hops from a farm trailer. Immediately bought my iWalk 3.0 which worked incredibly well with the plaster (epoxy) cast for first two weeks of injury. The only caveat was it's use on stairs. Ascending is not too bad but one MUST descend travelling backwards to avoid contact between trailing injured foot/ankle and stairs. After two weeks in cast I was fitted with a VACOPed Boot. The boot does not fit comfortably on the pad of the iWalk unless one places extra support under the knee. I bought a pair of 'NoCry' commercial knee pads which solved the fit problem and also raised the air valve on the boot from contact with the iWalk. Height setting of the iWalk is critical and may need changing with different types of footwear on the 'walking' foot. The iWalk leg height setting MUST by slightly shorter than the good leg in order to obviate the risk of tripping. However, set it TOO short and you will suffer hip discomfort. It needs careful trial and error. Overall, a great piece of hands free kit.

Since getting the iWalk I have felt much better about my injury. It’s made it possible to get some independence back. I have walked to the shops and felt more confident to go places and be amongst friends and family.

My iwalk 3.0 has allowed me to resume some normality. It allows me to be hands free and simply tasks which you simply can’t do on crutches I can do now.
