“I haven't used these brushes for makeup yet but they are super soft yet firm(holds shape when pressing against skin) so I'm sure they will do their job perfectly! I have spent some time just running them over my face because I like how they feel, haha. Super pretty design and the case that doubles as a stand is a bit large but a great addition! The case have a strong banana-like smell, and the brushes themselves smell like the interior of a new car, so if smells bothers you then these might not be for you. Since I haven't given them a wash I don't know if the smell disappears. Overall I'm so so happy with these and I cannot wait to use them!!!”
“The brushes are so soft and they work well. I like them a lot and the packaging is super cute and the brushes look cute too. But I think the smell of them when they arrived was disgusting. The zipper from the case doesn't work since I open it up.”
“When I first received this brush set, I found out the packaging smelled horrible (but that's something I encountered before with bags, for example). After one day that smell wore off. Because of that I don't really mind this, but for others it might be something that will put you off.
The brushes are dense and apply colour very well. The facebrushes have different sizes and shapes, and work great. Some are dense and some are quite loose, but every individual face brush works for it's function.
The eyebrushes (12 of them) are quite diverse in shape and size. I already used all of them at least once in my make-up looks. They are dense and hold their shape well. Picking up colours is no problem with these.
They might be synthetic but I have been enjoying this brush set a lot! I feel like you got everything in one set and it's not necessary to use others (but I do love my MAC 217 and 219 as well). It's an affordable set and great for beginners or for people who don't want to commit to an expensive brush set yet (like me).
