“I have both this palette and the Fiery 42. Together I have an enourmous range of cool-toned and warm-toned colors. I use a primer such as the MAC paint pot in Painterly and I find the colors stay put all day. If I don't use a primer, the colors tend to get patchy and collect in the crease of my eye. For the shimmer shades, I would recommend a glitter primer. Gorgeous everyday palette, swipe on any color for a basic look or mix for a smokey eye. Anything is possible. The color 'earth' is perfect for my brows and I can use some of the lighter colors as a bronzer (since cool-toned bronzers are hard to find).”
“I was super excited to try this product but when I received it in the mail it had a warning on the back about specific shades including ingredients not approved for use in eyes in the U.S.
I ignored those shades and applied (not a ton of pigment, but very forgiving and blend nicely). Within an hour my eye started burning and itching. I tried another day including only matte colors and my eyes burned again.
I gifted a friend the same eyeshadow palette, who called me and said their eyes burned as well using this (without me saying anything). In all cases we only applied this to our eye lids, so I cannot imagine how bad this would burn if used near the waterline.
The palette itself is stunning, has a great mirror and great value for the price. However since this burned both my eyes and a friends eyes we had to trash it.”
