“Ordered this as a heavier winter moisturiser to get ahead of inevitable dry skin. Wanted to love it but I hate it SO much. It pills so badly no matter how much or little you use, how you apply it, on its own or with other products, etc. It dries leaving a waxy feeling on the skin's surface and has a slight playdough smell. Might be good as a barrier cream for someone with eczema or psoriasis, but I can't use it as a daytime moisturiser because the pilling is insane. Very disappointed!”
“I can't tell you how many moisturisers and face creams, oils, lotions, skin barriers, ointments I've used for my post-natal eczema on my face... But it's A LOT!
In the beginning for about 6-9 months my skin was pretty awful. Mostly around my eyes and mouth. It was dry, red, sore, cracked, flaky, itchy and even sometimes a bit weepy and it really affected my day to day life.
However, the past few months have been so much better. I got it under control by using Cerave face lotion and then on top the Cerave face cream and when needed on top of that, steroid cream.
However, I never really found a thick, long lasting moisturiser that worked well with my skin and didn't irritate me. It's thick but doesn't feel cloggy or anything. The latest one I bought, before this one was from Liz Earle, which is great. I still use that on and off. But this has definitely changed my skin so much.
I apply it on top of my Bare Minerals face serum - another life saver that I've only just found out about! And even at about 1pm I touch my face and can still feel that it's soft and moisturised. I've never had that before. It's absolutely amazing. It doesn't irritate me or sting when applying (even the Liz Earle one stings sometimes when applying). It's super cheap for what it actually is, please don't change that!
My skin isn't that dry anymore, it's healing well when I do have a bit of a flare up and I just love the moisturiser so much, I definitely couldn't be without it now. I wish I'd found it a lot earlier.
I was definitely skeptical as Beauty Bay isn't really a well known brand at all yet compared to companies like Liz Earle, etc. But I'm so glad I tried it. I'm a customer for life!”

“Really would recommend for dry to very dry skin. My skin is semi dry, with some dry to very dry patches; when I use this creme it's still as plump and juicy 10+ hours after I've put it on. A little product really does go a long way. I would also say it's very gentle as I've had no sensitivity issues with this one :)”
