“This is a beautiful palette. I can make all sorts of looks, from sunset looks to nude looks and varying in depth from deep looks to light sheer ones.
Mattes: The black is soft but deeply pigmented. The red and berry shades need to be packed, blended and packed on more, but these shades are difficult to formulate in general and the Beauty Bay formula is vegan, so this is expected and I am not too bothered by it. The neon yellows are beautiful and bright but need a white base to be neon. The other yellows and oranges are pigmented and blend well, so do the browns and nudes.
Shimmers: All the shimmers are quite true to the colour in the pan but there are different levels of shimmer and sparkle. The shades crystal, tiger and kisses are slightly flaky shades that can be applied as a metallic or tapped lightly like toppers. Tiger is the most stunning shade in the palette in my opinion, it has a texture similar to an expensive indie shade. Firework also has flaky shimmers but it can't really be used like a metallic- it is almost like a matte with glitter/mica particles on top. The shades champagne, fudge, latte, sun, honey and cappuccino are intense, smooth metallic type shimmers. They have a strong colour payoff and don't need to be layered. The shades peel, ginger, laces, fizzy, ribbon are basic shimmers that need layering. The shades soft and shell are lightly shimmered but they make a beautiful bright inner corner and have a good pigmentation. The shade rush is my least favourite shimmer and it's more like a satin.
Overall, I am happy with this palette and the looks I create with it especially for the low price.”

“Super pigmentation pour les fars mattes mais difficile de travailler les fars irisés car les paillettes s'accrochent un peu difficilement au pinceau. Mais le multiple choix des couleurs et de possibilités pardonnent ce petit détail”
