“I'd been eyeing up this palette for a long time, and when I finally bought it, I was amazed by the colours. They look slightly different from all swatches that I found online - colours are deeper, more interesting and more complexed. It's not just a grey smokey palette, the shadows have undertones of other colours. As a professional colour consultant, I would recommend this palette to Cool Winters and Dark Winters as a standalone palette, and to Bright Winters as a neutral base to mix with brighter colours from other palettes. I have however issues with durability. The shades fade quickly on my face and move into the crease. As they mix together, they also start looking a bit muddy. I have oily eyelids, but I apply the shadows onto an eyeshadow primer. I use the same method as when applying other eye shadows, but other products last longer on my face. I hope that different technique helps, otherwise I won't be using this palette on the days when I need my makeup to stay intact all day.”
