“I have normal/combination skin and wanted to use gentle BHA daily to clear out my pores and prevent acne.
This cleanser has a really pleasant (and surprisingly thick) consistency that foams up very nicely with a very light fragrance. It truly feels like a dream upon application.
However, after rinsing off, my skin felt completely stripped, squeaky clean, which is not what I look for in a gentle cleanser. Even after both a moisturizing serum and a moisturizer, my skin could not recover from the tightness. In addition, people independently testing the pH of this cleanser reported a pH of 9 (our skin should be at around 5.5!), which I am assuming contributed to the discomfort.
This would probably work much better for (very) oily skin types.”
“I bought this to use as the first product in my skin care routine to treat my closed and open comedones and to remove excess dry skin. It did the latter and my skin is lovely and smooth after using this product and has a healthier glow to it. Also, the salicylic acid content was perfect for introducing this ingredient to my skin for the first time as no irritation occurred. However, after a few days of use my comedones appear the same so I don’t think this is the perfect cleanser for me, but overall it was a lovely product to use to introduce salicylic acid to my skin.”

“This cleanser is honestly a lifesaver, it isn’t too stripping and doesn’t make your skin feel dry/tight. You only need a pea sized amount if that as it does foam up a lot on your face once you get going, I have had this for a few months and I still have half of it left. Won’t be going back to any other cleanser, highly recommend.”
