“I love this product so much. It feels like a full spa facial while I’m laying in bed. I can shock a little bit but it does best with a water-based gel. My face looked more defined and chiseled. I don’t think I would spend $300 but I was glad to be able to try it. I wish the app had more options.”
“I was a bit skeptical about using this on my skin or it it would even work ! Surprisingly I have been really enjoying it. I love the different settings it has and I love the way it feels as I glide it on my skin. I watched a video to ensure I was using it properly and getting the full effect. “I was skeptical about this skincare device at first but after trying it for a month now, I’m so impressed! This device really works! The shape and design is really nice to hold in your hands and use for a prolonged period of time. The shape really fits the contours of the face, even the more awkward contours of the face. The device has 10 different intensity settings, which is really nice as you’re starting out with it because you an build up your tolerance to the microcurrent. The device has a massage setting that can be turned on or off. I really like this setting. It gives your face a gentle vibration. I don’t feel the microcurrent at all on my face but after using if for a month, I noticed that the contours of my face are significantly more defined, my skin is smoother, and it feels more firm! My fine lines are noticeably improved and my skin just feels more elastic! I think the only downside of this device is that it doesn’t come with the microcurrent gel. You need to purchase this it separately. Also, you have to connect it to their app to use it. So, you need a smartphone to operate it. The app is really easy to use and intuitive. Overall, I’m very impressed with this device and I would highly recommend it!”
“I’ve only been using this for a little less than a month, so I can’t speak on long-term effects. It is pretty fun to use and makes me feel like I’m getting a spa facial experience every time I use it and take time to do a whole multi-step skincare routine! I don’t think it’s worth the $300 price tag, so I’m glad I got to experience using one as a free sample. I saw others comparing it to NuFace, so I looked up that product to compare it to and it seems pretty similar, so if you already have one you don’t need the other. If you can get a good deal on this, or want to splurge, get this! The relaxation and spa-like experience may be worth it, especially with the potential for long-term tightening and toning!”
“Love the size of this, that is fits easily in my hand. I know people have commented on the app being hard to use but I haven’t run into that issue. One thing is that it’s hard to start/stop so I let. Run while I reapply the gel. Gel that comes with it is a small packet so I’d recommend getting aloe gel to use as a substitute. I do it for a couple minutes in the morning and it’s a nice part of the routine. At first I wasn’t sure if it was working but when it goes over a part of my face without gel you can feel the current. I have jaw pain from clenching at night so I’d love for this to treat that. Otherwise I’d say it’s like a very luxe Gua Shua massage w more lasting results”
“The micro current is stronger than the Nuface Mini, so instead 10 minutes, the Bear can be done in only 2 minutes/day. I also love that the Bear is water resistant, so I can actually rinse off the metal spheres instead of just wiping them down (ahem, Nuface).
Also, I SWEAR I can see results right away. My face looks more toned right after I use it, but the results don’t stay. My skin kind of “bounces back” to its lesser toned self, but over time, I have faith that I can see lasting results with continued use, like I’ve seen with my Nuface Mini over time.
Foreo also has an app that has very few “workouts.” It’s cool that you can hook it up via bluetooth and it’ll guide you through the workouts, but I don’t feel like it’s a very well-rounded app. I still like to use my Nuface “moves/swipes/holds.” One thing that I don’t like about the Bear is that it turns off after 2 minutes, where as the Nuface Mini turns off after 10 minutes (I believe, I haven’t used it in a while.) It is kinda of annoying that it turns off so quickly, but I guess I just love being extra with my longer lifting sessions.
TLDR; I prefer the Bear over my NuFace Mini: quicker, easier, more soothing, water resistant. Does have some cons, but for now, the Bear beats out my NuFace Mini.”
