“Have to put app on phone, before you start, which took me half hour as it wouldn't accept code. Instructions very vague, shave, apply gel and use. No information anywhere regarding whether to wait an hour after shaving etc. It says to glide firmly, I'm assuming not so firm that the glass panel touches skin as it does burn enough to make you flinch, the rubber guard around glass does prevent glass from having contact most of the time (juicy calves are my area that caused reaction). There are 2 main types of settings 1 being mild where you have to press the button each time to cause it to flash and the other for larger and more stubborn areas eg legs where you can hold the button down and it will only flash when there is full rubber contact on the skin, making knees tricky and having to hold the button down whilst gliding firmly gets awkward and tires your hand easily. Google informs not to use ipl on moles or use self tanner. It does come with power point with adapter which is great, so no need to buy adapter. After 2 weeks of initial use I can see no reduction in hair in bikini or legs, but will continue to use and update. Improvements could be a button that you press and it stays down and clear instructions.”
“Having previously owned a Philips IPL, I wasn't convinced that this form of hair removal was for me. I gave this Peach device a whirl as I liked the fact that it had a bigger light emitting window and should therefore make things quicker.
I have used this a couple of times now and was impressed with the speed at which I could do each leg, with the function to hold down the button and for the device to continual admit the bursts of light. Both full legs were done within 20 mins. It doesn't hurt to use, just a slight warm sensation of the skin afterwards. Really impressed with this device and would recommend above some of the more expensive versions on the market.”
“This is a really nice IPL device. I used an epilator on my legs before, and I shaved my other bits, but this works on all those areas without issue. The treatment window is large and the flashes are a bit intense, so eye protection is a must while it's on. I love that the silicone body provides a great grip so it won't fall out of my hand unexpectedly, and the cooling vents are doing a great job. I've used it on my legs, my privates and my underarms so far. It seems to be inhibiting hair growth with each treatments, so my dream of being hairless and smooth seems much more attainable.”
