“I have used the Biotin & Botanicals hair mask once a week for the past month. I really like how it protects my hair and adds a shine and smoothness to it. It doesn't feel weighted down or greasy - it's nice and light weight and I'm able to apply it from root to tip without any concerns.”
“Things that I liked about the product: First off, I really enjoy the pepperminty smell of the mask, it reminded me of a spa and felt very clean. When applying it in the shower, I could immediately feel how soft it made my hair, and even after washing it out my hair was significantly softer than usual. I usually blow dry/straighten my hair right after, and I could tell that it was a bit less frizzy and it looked very silky and shiny but not oily. It felt light and wasn't weighing my hair down. What I didn't love: When drying my hair I noticed little specs of residue so I wasn't sure if I didn't wash it out enough, but I brushed it out and it seemed fine. The next day it seemed to have a little frizz, and the ends felt dry, but that most likely is due to the damage. I wouldn't say it's very different to what I used previously and it's hard to say if I think it's good for my hair type (3A) but I think it will take a bit more use to really see if it helps hydrate my hair longterm.”
“I have been wanting to try a hair mask forever and this one is AMAZING!!! It has a gorgeous essential oil scent and it feels like a spa experience using it. The mask is super thick and creamy. “I love the smell of the product— there's a minty tinge from the mix of tea tree oil and peppermint, along with the other ingredients like turmeric & rosemary which is so beneficial to the hair. I understand that this product might not be ideal for every single type of hair out there but for me personally, it helped give it soon oomph at the roots and helped lift it to where it look and felt fuller while maintaining light to the touch. My hair always seems to have problems with baby hair & frizz, it did help reduce it some. I really massaged it into my scalp and wrapped my hair up while it conditioned for 10ish minutes in the hot shower, twice a week. The thickness and feel of the hair mask was something I really enjoyed combing through my hair with my fingers. I'd definitely can see the potential benefit to keep using this product once a week moving forward and hope that through time it only gets better from here.”
