“This shade has amazing coverage, it lasts amazingly, the doe foot applicator is second to none and has a really unique shape that hugs the lip. I have very fair, neutral-tone skin and Redrum is my perfect red. I don't tend to find I need a lip liner with it and the formula tops up without going cakey and flakey!”
“I’m really disappointed with this. It’s my first Jeffree Star lipstick, I decided to buy because I’m sick of liquid lipsticks that dry out after a couple of hours and JS lipsticks are hyped up for being none drying. I was so excited to finally get a decent lipstick but unfortunately it’s just another liquid lipstick, my lips were I’d say even drier than other brands, after half an hour my lips were crusting and very uncomfortable. I’m also disappointed with the colour- I’ve been looking for a ‘real’ RED lipstick that doesn’t have pink undertones, this colour looks perfect on the swatches like a postbox red but it actually is pink and not red. Just overall disappointed with this, most definitely was not worth the £16 price tag! :(”
“Although it is not moisturising, it doesn't dry my lips either and feels light. I wore it to work and it stayed all day! I found it best to apply on dry lips as if I apply lip balm first it doesn't dry completely and doesn't stay as long. It is quite difficult to remove which I think is a good thing, but coconut oil does the charm. I have purchased Redrum shade and although I thought it might be too dark with my fair skin, it looks great and makes me feel confident. Absolutely love it.”
“Love love love this liquid lipstick so much! Always a staple of my makeup collection and my fifth purchase in a year to keep me going! I just wish it wasn't as expensive so I could get more! Best red colour I've ever found that genuinely suits me being fair skinned and red haired!
Can get a little dried out if wearing for long periods but lip scrub and balm between applications is always favourable!”
“Jeffree Star’s lipsticks are super lasting although the darker colours have a tendency to bleed after a few hours. Food wise, they last alright as long as your careful. Any oily foods and they will vanish though!”
