“I had been told by many that this was the best liquid lipstick out there, and I needed to try it, going away from only the "normal" ones. But I find the Jeffree Star Velour Lipstick to be in a poorer quality than some of the other brands, that I bought. The color (Unicorn Blood) is beautiful, but I can feel it on my lips all the time. It's not that it dries up and becomes like a crusty shell because that doesn't happen with Jeffrees (I have another one, and a lot of other brands), but it just sits there all day, being really irritating and keeping you focused on your mouth. But it looks great.”

I can't find one bad thing to say about this lipstick (it is matte so it does dry you lips a bit, use a lib balm before use if it bothers you). I was so afraid to buy it because I didn't know the formula and I was scared it was too hyped for no reason. The hype is real and 100% justifies. I will definitely buy more of these.”

“This lipstick is definitely matte, make sure to moisturise your lips before hand because it’s quite drying. The colour isn’t quite what the picture shows it’s more maroon on my skin tone (brown) but is still a beautiful shade.”
“On the top of the lipstick chain, definitely. The scent is amazing the formula is amazing. HOWEVER. It will like any other matte lipstick dry out your lips after a while. And then when you reapply, it's not great. It also does smudge , not really easily but it does. Still, one of my favourites, it's honestly fantastic.”
