“Honestly one of the best palettes I own. Although there is fallout from the shimmery shades, it doesn't stop them being really pigmented and easily to blend! The matte shades are also amazing. The palette is much bigger than I expected so I won't be running out of any shades soon. Probably not for the average natural makeup wearer but amazing for people who want to experiment!”
“This is my first Melt pallet and I'm a little disappointed by the quality of the eyeshadows. The matte are extremely patchy and difficult to blend, the shimmers come with a ton of fall-out and don't last long. The hype about this pallet was mostly for the unique colour story, which I agree with, but, overall, the product doesn't live up to its expectations.”
“Beautiful palette. The shimmers are stunning and perform well, especially shiny with a wet brush. However the mattes are totally lacking. The darker green shade is very very patchy, it packs on well but as soon as you blend it vanishes in some places and takes a lot of packing on to get it even. The other matte green needs to be packed on otherwise it blends out into nothing and looks patchy/uneven. The mattes are really disappointing but can be worked with. There's also quite a bit of fallout. The shimmers luckily make up the majority of the palette which is why it gets 4 stars.”
“I used concealer as an eyeshadow base for the longest time, and when i was the whole frenzy around the P. Louise base i started to gain interest in changing my ways to see if it was really worth it. It's a bit difficult for me to get a hold of it, so when MR released this I was very excited. It makes the world of a difference in application. The eyeshadows blend in a much cleaner and precise way, the eyeshadows are also more pigmented during application. I found I didn't have to go back and forth as much. For the cut creases it works perfectly too, a little goes a long way. I didn't experience any creasing but this is a sticky base, it doesn't completely set so if you have oily eyelids you might want to powder them before. The applicator is really garbage however, it is not precise and and applies too much product, but i am not very bothered since I am used to using a concealer brush to apply mu base. There is a lot of product so i think this is a true bang for your buck because it'll last forever. I will be purchasing this in more shades.”
