“This boom set is very well designed but as with all Festool, it is extremely overpriced for what parts are included. Having said that, it really makes the vacuum more versatile. It is expensive but works as advertised. Be aware that if you have the Oneida Dust Deputy mounted on the vacuum, the large included hose will not fit. Even the standard vac hose will need to be modified to work using a couple of wire ties to get it to line up with the center top connector of the Dust Deputy. Once connected, it will make you smile with the ease of use.”

“I wanted this thing ever since I got my CT26. I waited because by adding this to the vacuum, it insured that I would never take it to the field again... and that it does. It is awesome in the shop!!! No more tripping over the hose and cord, the vacuum is tucked nicely out of the way, no more catching the side of table with the ridges on the hose, and the list goes on. I love it, but for my uses, I felt like I had to wait until I got a second CT26. To me this is one of the luxury items that they have. I got by for years without it, but now that I have it, I love it. I just makes work on the table so much more enjoyable.”
