“It makes cuts even and supports the router keeping it flat when using the track, on soft woods it might leave a slight line or a mark when making passes tho.”

“This part came with my 1400 Edge Guide. Built fairly sturdy for application. Tightening knob fits fine and holds tight to router. Glides well over smooth surfaces with very easy adjustments to material thickness. I haven't put any significant force down on the support but why would you? Nice to have I'm not sure if its worth the money to replace.”
