“I've tried the cheap oscillating spindle sanders and even tried the sanding drum kit for my drill press. Nothing worked that great. I found the Jet JBOS-5 1/2HP benchtop oscillating spindle sander and decided to try it. I was not disappointed in the slightest. Performance is outstanding! This was my first Jet machine now I'm slowly phasing out my other equipment for Jet machines.”

“I also bought a lesser priced sander from one of the big box stores and needed a smaller, 1/4", diameter spindle for a special project I build on a regular basis. The JET is a top quality piece of equipment but I strongly recommend JET make a 1" spindle available for this machine as it is quite a step between the 5/8" spindle and the 1 1/2" spindle that comes with the machine.”

“I purchased a big box store brand and was not happy at all with the quality and design. I returned it and spent the extra money and purchased the JET JBOS-5 1/2HP, 1PH 115V BENCHTOP OSCILLATING SPINDLE SANDER.”
