“Jet had this on sale, so I snagged it. It does the job. Sometimes I wish i had sprung for a wider jointer though. 8 inches it is pretty good for most needs however. The protective black coating is awesome especially in humid climates. Plus it looks really nice. One thing that took me a second to understand because the manual was not clear on it is the cut depth adjustment, its a long handle that sticks out. I didn't realize you have to move the handle up and down (not twist it) to adjust the depth of cut.”
