“I have used Abranet for several years now and find that it lasts about twice as long as conventional sandpaper that you buy at the big blue box store. It doesn't clog up unless I am using it on green wood or I am stripping finish off a piece of furniture. In those cases, all sandpaper will clog. If I get dust buildup with Abranet, I just blow it out and go on. It works well on my 5 inch orbiting sander or free hand sanding during my woodturning. Heat build up is much less than conventional sandpaper. At times when I need to sand an odd shape, I glue a piece of Velcro to a custom made sanding pad and fix Abranet to the Velcro.”

“I use this with my orbital sander and freehand sanding on wood lathe work. They last long and dust pulls right through it. this gives a nice selection of grits and they last a very long time compared to paper and cloth backed sheet stock. I highly recommend the pad protector with this or you wear the hooks off the sander. The protector also seems to enhance the vacuums ability to pull dust through.”
