“The package was in the original box and was not damaged. It was well packaged with styrofoam and thick cardboard. After setting up the machine I turned it on and noticed a High pitched very loud noise. On further inspection I noted some mild denting of the top fan housing. I unscrewed the top of fan housing and noticed 3 fan blades that were not welded and were loose. Also there was a quarter sized area on the inside of the top housing where there was no black powder coating exposing raw metal. After taking out the loose blades the machine operates fine without the high pitched screeching . I notified customer service who wanted me to take photos to determine who was at fault. I decided to avoid the hassle and went ahead and ordered a new fan from e replacement for $29. I am unable to get the part anywhere sooner than 16 business days. I previously had a Delta mortiser which I hated.”

“Great bench top motriser. It has enough power to put a 3/4 chisel into oak without bogging down. I purchased the riser block and installed it when I assembled the machine. It's important to note that the adjustment nobs for the fence will no longer be usable if you install the riser.”
