“On about 50% of the screws I tried, only one wing tab broke off, leaving a large hole in the steel with no mechanical connection. I was securing 5/8 plywood sheathing to my steel building (2100sf commercial). I shot about 5 or 6 of these in and 2 or 3 broke off only one tab. The single tab bored a huge hole in the perlins. Maybe the press didn't form the tabs thin enough. I did not continue wasting time or money and ended up using a similar type screw (but it wasn't collated).”
