“This is a light version of Sawstop's saw. It has the same power as Professional 1.75HP saw, but much lighter. Which is excellent choice for small mobile shops. It accepts the same accessories as higher models, but significantly cheaper. Induction motor with v-grove belt is very quiet. It's powerful enough to cut hardwood and pine on daily base. In my shop setup I never needed more juice for cutting wood. Works well with 10" saw blades, as well as with dado sets.Dust collection is great, but don't forget to order dust collection blade guard. With this guard dust collection will be close to 99%. Pro fence is excellent and accurate. Scale is marked in inches and millimeters. Slider has magnifying visor. 36" table is sufficient to handle 4'x8' sheet goods. Pros: quiet, powerful, can be wired for 110V or 220V, accurate, upgradable. Cons: Dust collection blade guard and cast iron wings must be standard, Conclusion: The best saw for money/value. Reliable. No any problems after two years of exploitation on daily base.”
