“I've always used bedhead hats for my kids (now 7 and 5), but I've always purchased the originals series until now. This was my first dive into the heritage series and I couldn't be happier! I love the lightweight feel of the hats, and how they cover more of the neck at the back. My only "issue" (if you could even call it that) was the way they are tied up with each use. It definitely looks pretty, but wasn't particularly practical, especially for my 5yo who is still learning to tie a bow, and my kids just grab their own hats and put them on automatically when going into the sun, so being able to put them on independently was a must. But this was easily rectified by stealing the toggles off two of our very old and well-worn originals hats and putting them into the strings of the heritage hats (I just had to unknot the end, slide the toggle on and reknot). And it works perfectly. My kids LOVE their new hats and are always excited to wear them.”
“Love these, I've bought several for my little boy, though I do wish there were more options for boys in this design as boys need protection from the sun too!
I'd also love to see the design have a firmer brim as they do tend to distort after a couple of washes no matter how careful I am about the drying process.
Overall though I LOVE the design & the materials used. Would definitely recommend them to anyone, just pay close attention to the care instructions as they are pure linen.”
