“It’s a great hat and offers great coverage from the sun. Love the pony tail hole at the back! I found the material isn’t great when it gets dirty, daughter wore it once, got some dirt on it and I had to get ally soak and scrub to get the tiniest mark off which still don’t full come off. It’s just the type of fabric.”

HI Tegan,Thank you for your review and the photo.Looking at the isolated faded spots, it looks like sunscreen may have caused discolouration in the fabric of the hat.The metals/chemicals in the sunscreen sometimes cause the colour to bleach or fade.And each sunscreen is different...so it's tricky to control.Since the chemicals in sunscreen don’t react well with other materials and can stain fabrics (and ruin your car paint!). We recommend to ensure sunscreen has soaked in and been washed from hands before putting on a hat or rash vest.Kind regards, Melissa
