“I received a free ponytail from the promotional holiday offer that happened last year 2016. I'm glad I didn't pay for the item as it would have been very upsetting. The ponytail is extremely heavy and tangles very easily. Because of the weight it does not stay in with the clip or strap attached. It looks awful and extremely noticeable when worn. I love Bellami hair extensions but am not at all a fan of the synthetic ponytail. Personally, would not recommend this.”
“I have thick dark hair that is below my shoulders and I purchased the 20 inch 160g in dark brown. Before making the purchase online it took me a couple of weeks to commit to a color and weight because there was no way of me trying them on. Having 20 inches didn't bother me because I felt that if they were too long I could always go to the salon and have them trimmed. Just as an FYI, there is a great YouTube video that describes and compares all of the shades, which was very helpful. Additionally, you can send Bellami a picture of your hair and they can match it for you. The color I chose matched beautifully. Looking at the wefts on their own, it appeared at first, that they were too warm toned, but once I clipped them in they blended perfectly. I chose the 160g because I remembered seeing a model on the Bellami site that had the words "medium to thick hair" across her picture. I coupled this information with several user review videos on YouTube who talked about the overwhelming thickness of the product to make my decision. With that being said, I found the 160g to be a bit thin for my liking. Unfortunately, blending the extensions with my natural hair was very difficult and there was a definite weight line, especially in the back. I took the extensions to my hairdresser and had her cut and style them to help with this problem. I watched numerous tutorials and spent a significant amount of time finding what placement worked best for me. I am happy to report that I have finally found a way to wear my extensions, but it was no easy task. The only actual product problem I found was that one of the clips on my 4 clip weft became unthreaded. I fixed the problem myself by simply resewing the clip. I know some people would find this to be annoying, but it really wasn't that big of a deal for me. In truth, I would probably buy a Bellami product again. Next time, however; I will probably purchase the Khaleesi 280g in 20inches.”
