“Initial Purchase Price: The initial purchase price of 169.99 made the Gold set a steal instead of trying to purchase all of the pieces individually.
Shipping Price: As this item was to be shipped to me here in Canada I was charged an additional $45 dollars (USD) taking the order total to $214.99 (USD).
Customs Price: Much to my surprise Bellami, valued the product at $425.00 (USD) so once the product arrived I was charged another $70.00.
Total Price: So the Initial price $169.99 plus shipping $45.00 = $214.99, plus the unexpected $70.00 = $284.99. So for me to purchase this set as a Canadian it cost me $373.66. Certainly not worth this new whopping price tag.
Packaging: Although the box is big and gorgeous, the materials holding each product is terrible. If left black residue over every single item in this box. So upon arrival I had to take 30 mins to properly wipe everything down to then be able to use it.
Blow Dryer: I love the blow dryer I have to be honest. It does a superior job to all that I have previously owned. As much as I love the blow dryer, I don't love the concentrator and diffuser. After using them on the blow dryer for about 5 minutes and I went to take it off it was too hot to touch which sucked to have to walk away from doing my hair to wait for it to cool down to finish.
Flat Iron: This flat iron is the bomb. It left my hair virtually straight with only one pass. Loved it!
Curling Wand: I have to be completely honest when I say that I don't love the wands, moreso for their lack of hold. I have a Conair curling wand that will curl and hold my hair all day long and with this set my curls were non-existent after about 45 minutes. :( It is nice having the three different sizes, if you like using product to hold the curls!
Hair Clips: These things are not great. I have average hair, not thick but not thin. I have tried to use these clips to hold up my hair and it falls out within seconds.
Overall Opinion: As much as I enjoy all of Nicole's video and tutorials, I would sadly say that had I known what I know now about this product I would never have purchased it. Hoping that this doesn't come across as a Nicole bashing review because to be honest it isn't personal, just an honest review from a hard-working mom.”
