“Coming from somebody who has ordered at least 4 sets of extensions from this website (and loved every single pair), I have to say, I’m super disappointed with this set. I don’t want to completely bash these extensions because they are pretty and the colors are well blended. Every other pair that I have ordered have been able to withstand heat and hair color/lightener because they were probably 100% real hair. This pair on the other hand, can’t be 100% Remy hair like they say in the description. When I opened the sample piece that they give you to try before opening the actual package of extensions, it looked like it match perfect so, I went ahead and opened the rest only to realize that they looked completely different once they were all in my hair. I emailed them and they did offer me store credit if the extensions weren’t tampered with but I had already curled them trying to blend them with my hair. So, giving that they wouldn’t take them back, I decided to try and lighten them a tad bit because my hair is slightly lighter than the extensions (I‘ve lightened other sets and never had any issues. I even used olaplex when lightening these). Thankfully, I only lightened one piece from the because when I did, it completely melted it. If this was 100% real hair, it wouldn’t have melted. I’ve been wearing extensions for years and not once have I ever had any melt and break off when they were touched with lightener. Like I said, they are very pretty and look great but if you are wanting to color/lighten these, I wouldn’t recommend ordering these. I love Bellami extensions but I probably won’t be ordering from them again. I feel ripped off for spending almost $300 on extensions that aren’t even 100% real.”
