“I ordered these extensions for my engagement photos and for my wedding day as I plan to have my hair down and curled for both occasions and thought they might help add some much needed length and volume. I read more than my fair share of reviews about Bellami; the quality, customer service, and overall ease of using the products. When my order arrived, they didn’t quite look like the photos of the Butter Blonde online but I figured since they were hair and hair comes in different shades that I must have just received a set of extensions of a various shade within Butter Blonde. I met with a stylist who suggested I wash the extensions before using them so they held curl and hairspray better on the day of my photos. I filled the sink with warm water, used Living Proof shampoo, brushed them with a wet hair brush and hung them to dry as directed by Bellami and my stylist. When the extensions dried, they became frizzy and turned copper/strawberry, a far different shade than Butter Blonde. As a first-time buyer, this wasn’t the experience I expected, especially after all the raving reviews I read online before making my purchase. I’m hoping the inspection and customer service teams can help me get the right set in time for my pictures on October 20th!”
“I ordered these extensions for my engagement photos and wedding. The hair was a little darker than the displayed Butter Blonde, but I’ve never ordered or worn extensions before so I didn’t know if this was anything to be concerned about. I took them to a stylist who has worked with Bellami extensions for a decade and she mentioned the color was a little off from the website images but we would work with it for my engagement photos. She recommended I wash the extensions to get them prepared for styling, and when the hair dried, it turned a strawberry/copper color and became frizzy. I washed them as directed in the sink with warm water and Living Proof shampoo, hinge them up and brushed them with a wet hair brush. Due to the color change and frizziness upon washing and drying, I contacted customer service for an inspection. My stylist recommended doing so because she believes the extensions are faulty or defective since they changed color and quality after washing. Upon first purchase, I wouldn’t recommend these extensions. I am hoping the inspection process results in a replacement and the replacement extensions are better quality since I have heard nothing but good reviews about Bellami and this was a huge disappointment as a first-time customer”
