“I really enjoy the honey from Big Island Bees. Their staff is friendly and responsive to questions. Now that I live in the mainland, their honey always brings back great memories of living in Hawai'i.”
“A tasty, rich, & delicious addition to baking products, teas, coffee, & drinks of your choice - great flavor & aroma. Although not smooth in texture - for me - this baker-grade honey can also be used as a topping that can be spread on bread, scones, cookies, muffins, crackers, & what ever you choose. When used within baking products there is a remarkable enrichment of the baked product, & great flavor & aroma. I usually buy the Ohia Lehua organic honey, after buying this baker-grade kind of honey - I have an additional favorite. Big Island Bee's honey is fantastic.”
“Love this honey! We use it in coffee, tea, and on toast. It has an awesome flavor identical to the non-baker's grade. Plus we bought it during a sale which makes it even better.”
“I love, love, love this honey. I stock up whenever it is on sale. I have introduced my whole family to it and they all love it. Each flavor has a unique taste. I tried the bakers grade and it was just as good as the regular. You can tell the difference from any other honey I have tried. So worth buying this. You will be hooked and will not ever want to use that honey in the bear bottle again.”
“I'm really enjoying the Baker's Grade Ohia Lehua honey I ordered. Visually it reminds very much of the honey we had from my grandfather's bees many, many years ago. It is not uniform in appearance and it contains some runny honey as well as some very large crystals, which are crunchy when you eat the honey raw. The flavor is excellent. Baking with it (I made a delicious elderberry pie with it) seems to dissolve the crystals. I have also used it to make delicious granola: I melt the honey together with some coconut oil in a small saucepan before mixing it with my other granola ingredients. I love that the price is half the usual price of Ohia Lehua honey. This way I can afford to use it in all my baking.”
