“I have an averaged sized female head. I wore my hair in a French braid and tucked it into the cap and the M fit perfectly. Kept my head and ears warm for a 1.2 mile swim in 58 degree water temp for a Ironman 70.3. I only had a little bit of chafing under the chin afterwards. Probably should have put some anti chafing there. But I otherwise was so happy with the purchase and would highly recommend. I think it helped prevent me from going into shock from the cold!”
“Medium size was perfect - thank you for the sizing guide. The chin strap is plenty long; I needed to trim it. After a 2K swim in the ocean off Santa Barbara coast, my hair was completely dry when I removed the thermal skull cap. Note that I had an orange latex swim cap over the skull cap. That combination kept my head warm throughout the swim.”
