“First impression - the elastic made putting on the boot incredibly challenging to get on and off. I actually left the Boots in the box and researched how to loosen the elastic. Youtube has a few ideas: the ice method is bunk. I did heat the elastic with my hair dryer in an attempt to "weaken" the elastic and pulled it apart. Meanwhile, I figured that if they are hard to get on, they'd be hard to get off. So, I ordered a boot puller and jack which is an absolute necessity. If there is another method, please, share it. Or use more pliable elastic. Once I could get them on, they are very comfortable boots. I have plantar and ankle issues that the boot seems to provide some relief (no doubt the stiff elastic). I typically need to replace the insole with an arch support and so far ... so good (fingers crossed). I have been wearing them most days hoping to break in the elastic, loosening it like in some of the pictures I have seen on the Web. Again, please share a method to loosen the elastic at least to the point where you can get them on and off without boot pull and jack.”
“Only thing I’m not happy a 100% is the narrow on the ankle, I have thin ankles and at the beginning wasn’t comfortable, takes time to losen up. They are beautiful, stylish and best quality as always.”
“I’ve only had my blundstones for a few months but I’m pretty sure I’ve worn them everyday since they arrived! These boots are incredible and breaking in so nicely. I had been eyeing them for about a year and then I found out my cousin has a pair and she’s been wearing hers for 4 years and they’re still in great shape.
I l wear these in the garden, weekend adventures, hiking, and I wear them with dresses too. They are the best and a worthy investment.”
“91/2 Is my size that I bought. That’s what seems to always fit best in any brand. To Put these on, I have to use boot pulls Because the ankle shaft is so slim fitting. It’s still requires my using a boot jack to remove them. The boot should have been made to fit more shaped Over the top of the foot. Overall they’re pretty comfortable but I doubt they’ll ever break in enough to solve those issues. I like the look of the taller shaft, and I like the color.”
