“LOVE these even more than my first pair of OG bluestone Chelsea’s. Super comfortable footbed - normally I put insoles in for the extra cushion, but no need to with these boots. I have narrow feet, so they fit a little roomy, but still very comfortable as my everyday all day work boot.”
“I found these shoes to run very small. I’m a solid size 7 and own a lot of work boots from other brands in that size and they fit perfectly. So when I bout these, I got a size 7 (I live in Hawaii and there’s nowhere for me to try them on before buying. Also shipping is $40, they don’t offer free shipping for Hawaii). The shoes were so small my toes were right up against the front of the boot. Eventually I caved and sent them back and got a 7.5 (had to repay for shipping). They’re still too small! I ended up having to cut away part of the insole to get them to fit and even after a few months of wearing them they’re more snug than I’d prefer. Wearable, but not what I’d expect from an almost $300 pair of shoes. Im bummed that their site says they have free shipping and that their boots are true to size when neither of those things ended up being true for me. The quality of the boots are amazing and I think if I ordered a size 8 I would’ve loved them and given it a 5, but I wasn’t about to drop another $40 in shipping to size up again. I would recommend trying these shoes on before buying if that options available to you!! If they fit me right, they’d be so comfortable. They’re so cute and I still wear them despite the snugness, I just had much higher hopes based on the cost and how much people rave about their blundstones.”
“I love my chunky Blundstones! I typically wear a US size 6, so I'm glad I was able to try on other Blundstone styles in person to land on the correct sizing. These are my favorite shoes for working in the pottery studio, they work well for shorter walks and all kinds of weather conditions, and I love the very solid lug sole style. However, these are not my ideal Blundstones for travel. If you have TSA Pre-Check/Global Entry, you will still need to take off your shoes as you pass through security due to the steel shank and they are a bit hard on my feet for long days of walking because they are quite a bit heavier than other styles. I'm saving up to get a more lightweight style for travel!”
“This is a tough one… I love Blundstones in general, but these lug style ones aren’t my favorite. They’re very water proof, and the sole is skid resistant, but they are uncomfortable at the ankle both on the front and back sides. I thought maybe it was just MY foot, but my 12 year old son who has the same size foot as me, borrowed them and agreed they rub and dig into the skin in both those areas. So I’m not sure what to do. I’m going to try having them stretched to see if that helps, or else they may end up sitting in the closet.”
“I have owned a couple different brands of leather boots throughout the years and these are my favorite! They had ZERO break in time, they were immediately comfortable. I work in a commercial kitchen and the lug style is perfect - so slips or anything over the 3 months I’ve been wearing them. My only issue is that sometimes the upper part of my foot, where it meets the ankle can become numb after wearing them for hours on hours. I appreciate the ankle support, so it’s not that big of a deal.”
