“blundstones are the greatest all around shore/ boot . i have had 7-8 pairs over the years and i love them. no laces ! great for and comfort .
i have three pairs now - and it's all i wear.
My assessment is that the 550 series is a bit tighter than the 500 series. But otherwise basically the same.”
“Good boots overall. I do wish I got the Classic over the Original, for more comfort cushion and shock absorption. I didn’t really look into the specs unfortunately and was going by color. Anyway I tried to switch out the sole w/ a cushier one and I guess it was too thick in the middle and it kept pressing my upper foot against the top of the shoe which made it very uncomfortable. So I switched back to the original sole and it’s not as cushioned as i would like it, so my feet do get sore.”
“Very happy with my boots! It took a couple wears for the boots to break in (leather felt a bit stiff around the ankles), but now they’re perfect! So comfortable, I wear them everywhere, no matter the walking distance…even covering 6+ miles walking around Boston. I’m usually a US Womens Size 5-5.5 and the AUS 2 was perfect.”
“These are very sturdy and nearly waterproof, I wear them almost daily in the winter and they show very little wear. I am normally a size 8 1/2 (US Womens) but that corresponding size was just too small and my toes literally ached at the end of the day. I wore this size for nearly a year and could not get them to soften/stretch to fit better. So I splurged, because I love the style, and bought the next 1/2 size up. These immediately fit better, but too wide, so I bought insoles and they fit and feel much better. The smaller pair I gave to my niece (they still looked brand new) who is a size 8 (US Womens) and they are a little too big, but she bought insoles as well and they are fitting better.”
“This is my third pair of these boots. I find this traditional Blundstone Style to be the perfect multifunctional boot out there. I wear them on the farm, to downtown dinners, at oyster roasts and tailgaters. My only problem with these boots is that my past two pairs suffered from hydrolysis after a few years and the soles of the boots crumbled. The uppers were just getting broken in. Sure would be nice if they could resole these boots.”
