“When I first tried on my boots, I almost sent them back. I have high insteps and wide feet. The width across my forefoot wasn't an issue, but the boots felt very tight across my instep. I had a difficult time getting them on and then I had to have my husband help me get them off. That said, I had read previous reviews about breaking the boots in, so I decided to give it a try. I wore heavy socks and wore them around the house for short periods for about two weeks. The break in period was tough and I almost gave up, but ever so gradually the boots started to give. I'm glad I persevered, I love them! The boot is conformed to my foot and they're very comfortable.”
