“These are the perfect boots for this busy, active, adventurous, world traveling senior! The fit is spot on. There was no “break-in” period. I appreciate the ease of pulling them on. I often use a boot-pull to take them off, to protect the back. I love the look! I’ve styled them with a dress or slacks for work. They go well with all of my hiking gear. I have both worn them and packed them when I fly. I’m off next for 2 weeks hiking in ALL the parks in Utah. They are my go-to boots for the trails!”
“These boots are absolute workhorses! I bought them for a 2-week winter trip to Scotland where they were my only shoes. Except for one incident where I unexpectedly ended up in snow/sleet deeper than the height of the boot which resulted in snow soaking my socks and drawing water in from the top, these babies kept my feet bone dry and toasty warm! And they looked good while doing it! I absolutely love these boots and will continue to wear them in the California rainy season. They did take some wearing in which included some light rubbing on my heels but after about a month they softened up and conformed to my feet perfectly.”
“These boots + wool socks and you’ll have the toastiest toes in the coldest weather. My feet lean on the wider side but I still bought my boots in my regular size and they had enough room for thick socks, so keep that in mind if you have narrower feet. They are however my winter-only boots, since when I take out the sheepskin insoles they are way too roomy.”
“Boots look great, very warm and comfortable, lasted all winter (-13°F). The winter version goes one size larger than the standard boots. Upset because The left insole is worn, you can see in the photo.”
