“Leather wears exceptionally well. Easily repels water with 2 coats of Huberd's Shoe Grease. Heels wear out within a year (heavy on-foot commuter & dog walker). Not great on ice, did well in snow with a medium weight wool sock. Takes a week or two to break the upper in well.”
