“These were very difficult to fit and after trying to get them on, I eventually had to take them back. I was very disappointed. I ordered two sizes bigger than normal and still could not get than past my heel. I unfortunately had to return them.”
“These are beautiful, sturdy boots. I typically wear a US Women's 9 or 9.5, and I believe I got the equivalent of a US W's 9.5, which was the right size for me. To comment on the fit: they feel pretty heavy-duty while you're wearing them, both in the leather upper and in the sole. They don't have much arch support as-is, so I replaced the insoles for some with higher arches. After doing that, they are pretty tight across the top of the foot, so do keep that in mind if you're intending to replace the insoles as I did. They are difficult to get on and off, but I'm guessing after more wear that process will continue to become easier. To me, all of that stiff material shows quality and potential for longevity, which is what I was going for. All in all, I am so glad that I bought them.”
