“Being an aussie in USA , in the mountains and wanted to use the lace ups for basic hikes (obviously they aren't cut out for anything serious ). I have found the soles to be so dangerous with absolutely zero traction and so slippery, so loose under foot, they can not be worn, no support whatsoever and no feel under foot. Couldn't even walk on a dirt or gravel rd, was like walking on ice w gum boots. Now I know they're not a hiking shoe design, but they are so far from it it blew my mind, I'll have to stick to wearing them to the pub. At 220$ that's a little disappointing. I have a few pairs and love them, but this really did disappoint that they could even get close to a basic activity shoe. Anyway thanks. Hope that was helpful. Cheers”
