“All florists rave about these boots, so I wanted to try this elevated heel style for higher end event workwear. I do love the look, but even though I sized up a half size to accommodate for socks, this boot is SO snug around the ankles. It is very difficult to get on and off, even after months of heavy duty wear for 10 hour days. I literally have to use the little tag on the end to pull while stomping to get it on, it’s not an easy slip on. Maybe go up a full size instead, maybe even 1.5… I will say, once I do get them on, I feel good support for about 6-8 hours, and they look great with anything. I also sprayed with a waterproofing for rain wear to protect the soft Nubuck, which has worked well. All and all, my only complaint is how tight the opening is, even though the slim look is great. I love being able to get in and out of a shoe… I’ll likely try the more classic Chelsea after I wear these out. Wouldn’t recommend as a daily boot, more of an occasion or once in awhile boot.”
