Holiday club 18/8/25 at Goals
“A really affordable option for holiday clubs at £10 including lunch. My son went to a couple last year when it was held in Thornton and really enjoyed them - he said there was a great mix of sports, games, lego, dancing, arts etc. He went today to the same session but held at Goals, his first time there. He came away sad saying he didn't want to go back which isn't like him. He said there was only football on offer, and that he was only allowed half a hot dog and some cucumber and was still hungry. I do appreciate he is 7 and sometimes what children report isn't the case, but I can only review based on his experience reported to me. On pick up I approached the adult supervising the children to ask if I needed to sign him out before I took him, the man said he didnt know as it was his first day in post. I waited around a while to see if I could ask anyone else but there was nobody else to be seen. In the end we just left. It did worry me a bit that there was only one responsible young adult supervising approximately 30 children and it was his first day in the role. Due to the above I probably wouldn't use Active Furture North again, which is a shame when last year's sessions were really positive experiences.”

Active Future April Multi-Sports and Activity Camp
“My 2 girls had a lovely time at Westville school; it took most of the evening for them to talk through all the different things they had done; drawing, making slime, dodgeball, trampolining, adventure playground, etc”
“My children love going to Active Future. Greg is brilliant and puts on a variety of activities daily. No day is the same! The children can choose which games/activities to participate in. The facilities are great - outdoor playground, chill out room, dining hall and a huge sports hall so they always get a run around even if it’s raining.
You know it’s good when the kids want to go back!”

“I initially booked my daughter onto 2 sessions as she didn't know any of the other children, after the first session she asked if she could go all week as she had really enjoyed it.
The play leaders are all really nice, they have done lots of activities and she has made some new friends.
I would definitely recommend.”

“I don't like giving bad reviews but we are feeling rather disappointed and won't ever book with them again. I was surprised with how we were greeted, no one smiled, no one welcomed the children in. The activities didn't live up to the adverts - for example, didn't go into Middleton woods, no den making. My sons are pretty easy going but they commented that there was a lack of supervision and they were just left outside for many hours, with little interaction with staff.”
