“The activities were fun and a good variety but my child's would wasn't cleaned and dressed. I specifically requested it, I was assured it would be seen to, it didn't happen. I was also assured there would be a break for the children to sit and eat. That was also not the case for us - they both came back hungry with their lunch boxes unopened, water bottles full. So a bit of a mixed bag for us and there's certainly room for improvement.”

We're pleased to hear that your children enjoyed the activities and variety of sports on offer, and we are sorry if you feel that your children were not given enough time to eat and drink during the day.
Regarding refreshments, your children attended a half-day session and arrived during our scheduled lunch period, when all children were sitting down to eat. We also held a further afternoon snack break, where children were encouraged to eat any remaining food. In addition, water is available throughout the day and children are regularly offered and encouraged to take drinks breaks during activities. While we cannot force children to eat or drink, we make every effort to provide multiple opportunities and reminders throughout the session.
In relation to the cut, this injury was not sustained at camp and was present prior to arrival. As requested, a member of staff cleaned and dressed the cut when your child arrived. By the end of the camp day, the dressing had come off during activities. We will continue to remind staff to check any dressings throughout the day where appropriate.
We always welcome constructive feedback and continually review our procedures to ensure all children have a positive experience at our camps. Our camps have been running successfully for many years, are attended by large numbers of children each holiday period, and we are proud that the vast majority of feedback we receive is overwhelmingly positive.

Pompom cheerleading
“My daughter, in year 4, enjoyed her cheerleading club. It’s a one-hour-after-school club, and she gets star of the week on some occasions. It's popular among all the girls, and they can enjoy themselves from a young age.”
