“STEMgineers frequently cancelled sessions same day or night before it was due to happen.
They cancelled the sessions at our school and have not refunded them. They also charged for the next month after they were cancelled and have not refunded them.
They are not responding to emails. They owe multiple parents from our school £70-80.
Such a shame because the sessions themselves were great, but I would warn all others to not use them.”

“The class itself is amazing but the admin behind this company is beyond dire. I sent a simple query about the account on the website which prompted them to cancel my daughters booking despite that not being what was asked. They then ignored my emails and I had to get the school to contact them to reinstate my booking.
They also cancel class with 2 hrs notice and do not refund the cost.”

“I was overcharged for a whole month when they were no longer going to do sessions at my sons school without notification. I have tried to contact both STEmgineers and pebble for the last 3 weeks and have not had a reply except from an online robot.”

“The class was not signposted and didn't have staff welcoming children in from the gate.
Staff at the sports hall called the leaders by radio and yet they still didn't come out.
The young sports leader (who wasn't even on duty) unlocked the gates and walked us across to the building where 2 woman walked towards us on arrival, didn't speak, say hi or act welcoming at all, children were running riot and not doing an form of welcome activity or involved in any interaction.
My son absolutely froze & refused to stay.
It took me to say - this is (child's name), what activity are you doing today, still staring at me with no interaction with my child said 'something to do with telescopes'
Would not have left my dog in that room, took my son and left.
Really awful experience”

“My son (10) attended his first class. He said he was given a kit to build and left to it. When pressed he did say that the leaders told them a bit at the beginning, but I don’t think he felt very engaged. He wants to talk about the science, ask questions, see where that technology is used in real life. He said he enjoyed it, but I know he’d hoped for more.”
