Young Engineers (full day)
“My 8 year old absolutely loved his day at Young Engineers and the staff were lovely. I was however disappointed that for the cost of a full day (steep compared to other activities), he wasn’t able to bring home even one of the creations he made. Instead they gave him cut-out pictures of his creations and sent me photos. I relayed this and they said, “the models stay at the venue since we reuse the sets each session (that’s how we keep the day affordable while still giving full sets to build with).” I totally get the rationale but in my mind there is a bit of a disconnect between “affordable” and “value for money”. As I said though, my son really enjoyed it.”

Thanks so much for the review, and most of all, we're so glad your child had such a great day with us.
He arrived not knowing what a motor did, and left having built 3 cars from his own imagination, plus several other creations.
That's the real value of a Young Engineers day: real STEM skills like engineering, motorised mechanisms and problem-solving, taught through LEGO® in a way that stays with children well beyond the session.
Next time he builds at home, he'll likely think about where to add a motor or what else those same pieces could become - that kind of thinking transfers to how he approaches problems more broadly.
It was also great to see his development over the day and how he interacted with the other children - we'd be pleased to have him back any time.
We checked our booking page and other communications, and there's nothing that would have set the expectation that models would be taken home. This is the first time we've had this feedback, but it isn't something to expect. Hope this helps.

Easter camp
“My son had a fantastic time today at Lego camp with Young Engineers – West London! He said it was incredibly fun, the instructors were friendly and he thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. We’ll definitely be back soon.
